Man in South Carolina Wins $100,000 in Powerball Lottery


Everyone knows that not everything you see on TV is real, but it turned out to be so for a lucky man hailing from South Carolina. He walked away with a prize of $100,000 in the Powerball lottery draw after he used a lottery strategy that he had seen on reality TV. An episode titled ‘Lottery Changed My Life’ of TLC was the reason for his win.

The lucky strategy

The rules of the strategy required the player to spend $25 a week playing the lottery for three months. The man was able to score a prize of $500 in the first week alone. However, he was able to win a whopping $100,000 in the seventh week.

He had won the bigger prize in the Powerball lottery draw conducted on May 28th. Initially, he believed that he had won $50,000, as he had matched two numbers. Luckily, his wife checked the numbers again and discovered that he had won a bigger prize. Not only did he match four of the total five numbers, but also got the Powerball number right.
