He walked away with a prize of $100,000 in the Powerball lottery draw after he used a lottery strategy that he had seen on reality TV. An episode titled ‘Lottery Changed My Life’ of TLC was the reason for his win.

The lucky strategy

The rules of the strategy required the player to spend $25 a week playing the lottery for three months. The man was able to score a prize of $500 in the first week alone. However, he was able to win a whopping $100,000 in the seventh week.

He had won the bigger prize in the Powerball lottery draw conducted on May 28th. Initially, he believed that he had won $50,000, as he had matched two numbers.
