The Irish Lotto draw took place on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 and had a jackpot of around €2.5 million, but none of the players were able to take the prize home.
The winning numbers that were drawn in Saturday night’s Irish Lotto jackpot were 03, 04, 08, 40, 41, 44 and 12 was the bonus number.
One player from Ireland was lucky, or unlucky, depending on how you see it. This is because the punter was able to match five out of the six numbers in the Irish Lotto drawing on Saturday night.
This means that they failed to win the massive €2,439,924 jackpot by just one number, which makes them unlucky.
However, they were able to take home a prize of €51,178, which makes them quite lucky, even if it is not a life-changing sum.
There were a total of 89,000 people who were able to walk away with prizes in the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws that took place on Saturday.
The winning numbers that were drawn in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday night were 04, 13, 24, 29, 31, 46 and 5 was the bonus ball.
However, no one was able to match all the numbers needed for winning the top prize of €1,000,000 in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
As for the Lotto Plus 2 draw, the winning numbers that were drawn in the Saturday night drawing were 02, 03, 15, 32, 33, 46 and 24 was the bonus number.
But, none of the players were able to match all the six numbers, which means that the top prize of €250,000 went unclaimed.
As far as the winning raffle ticket number is concerned, it was 9169 and a total of 85 players were able to win the prize of €500 each.
The national Lotto in Ireland is operated by Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), which was issued a license to operate the National Lottery for 20 years in 2014.
Anyone who has an account with the National Lottery has the option of self-excluding for a period between one month and five years. They can also disable their account permanently.
In 2021, the National Lottery’s ticket sales were able to exceed the €1 billion mark. Out of this amount, a total of €289.7 million had been dedicated to good causes.
