However, there was one lucky player who did manage to match five numbers and the bonus number to win €5,000.

The winning numbers that were drawn for the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Wednesday were 01, 02, 10, 12, 24 and 46, while 41 was the bonus number.

Lotto Plus 2

The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 2 draw on Wednesday were 01, 03, 20, 22, 26 and 39 and the bonus number was 09.

However, the Lotto Plus 2 draw also did not have any big winners, as its top prize of €250,000 went unclaimed.

In addition, there were also no winners for the €2,500 prize that was to be paid to anyone who matched five numbers and the bonus number.

Unclaimed prizes

Meanwhile, the National Lottery was urging players to check their lottery tickets carefully, as there are two newest millionaires in Ireland who have not come forward to claim their prizes.

These people were able to win thanks to the EuroMillions ‘Ireland only raffle draws’ that had been conducted this month.

A player from Kildare and one from Co Galway had won the prize of €1,005,000 in the Ireland only raffle draw, but none of the two players have come forward to claim their prize.

This has prompted the National Lottery to urge lottery players in these two counties to go over their tickets to see if they are the winners.
