Finally the moment had arrived for Sydney Evans to get his hands on his prize money of 1 Million US Dollars.
LOTTO MAX’s press release confirmed that a winner of US$1 Million prize had claimed the prize-money on November 5. It was told that a man named Sydney Evans had won MAXMILLIONS US$ 1 Million prize from July’s draw. The lucky winner was a senior citizen of Dundas, Ont., who is currently 72 years old.
Though the draw was announced by LOTTO MAX in July this year but the prize money was not taken by its winner. It was told that due to the ongoing pandemic the winner was constrained to visit the lotto’s office. An official of lotto informed that Evans contacted the office and told about his winning the 1 Million dollar prize. But Evans had also informed that he could not come and collect the prize money at that time.
It was only in the start of November that Evans had again contacted the office. He told that he was ready to collect his prize money and obtained an appointment.
On 5th November Evans went to the office of lotto and collected his US$ 1 Million.
About his story, Evans told that he had bought the ticket from Fortino which was located near his house. He also told that due to the pandemic his family members had advised him not to go out. Therefore he wasn’t going out too often but he managed to go out and bought a lottery ticket. Later on he occasionally visited Fortino to have a look at the results. But one day the life took a new turn for him when he found out that he had won a 1 Million dollar prize.
Evans told that he had a long-pending wish which he wanted to fulfill now. He told that he wanted to go out on a vacation trip along with his wife. He told that he will fund his trip with the money he won but waiting for things to get normal.
Evans is currently spending his retirement days along with his wife with his kids in a joint family system.
