The Mega Millions lottery draw was conducted on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 and had a huge jackpot of $445 million, which also came with a cash option of $224 million.
No jackpot winners
The numbers that were drawn in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions lottery draw were 03, 07, 11, 13 and 38, with 1 being the gold Mega Ball and 3X was the Megaplier for the night.
However, it turns out that there were no players who were able to match the right combination of numbers to win the massive jackpot.
This means that the grand prize will now roll over to the next draw of the Mega Millions lottery, which is scheduled for Friday.
The upcoming Mega Millions draw on October 14th, Friday, 2022 will now have a whopping jackpot of $494 million and it will also come with a cash value of $248.7 million.
No instant millionaires
Unfortunately, the Tuesday night’s draw of the Mega Millions lottery did not have a jackpot winner and also did not have any instant millionaires for that matter.
This means that there were no players who were able to hit the Match 5, or they would have won a prize of $1 million.
Had they matched the five numbers and also opted to play with the Megaplier, they would have increased their winnings to $3 million.
But, there were plenty of smaller monetary prizes that were paid out in the Mega Millions lottery draw on Tuesday night.
A total of 53 players were lucky enough to have managed to hit the Match 4 and also the Mega Ball, which allowed them to win $10,000 each.
In addition, there were also 5 players who not only managed to hit the Match 5, the gold Mega Ball, but also opted for the Megaplier, which means that their winnings were $30,000 each.
As far as the remaining prizes from the Tuesday night’s Mega Millions draw are concerned, they were between $2 and $1,500.
Tuesday night’s drawing saw a total of 906,150 tickets that were able to win prizes at some level in the Mega Millions lottery.
While there were no big wins in the Mega Millions lottery draw, Monday night’s Powerball lottery did see a lucky player from Minnesota win a prize of $1 million. The ticket was bought in Duluth at a Holiday Stationstore.
The Mega Millions lottery draw is conducted twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday. Players from 45 states in the US, along with the Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia can play.
