Players of the Powerball lottery participated in the draw that had a rather modest jackpot, as opposed to the massive $2 billion jackpot that was won in the same week.

The Powerball lottery draw took place on Saturday, November 12th, 2022 and had a jackpot of about 47 million, which came with a cash value of $23 million.

Jackpot rolls over

The winning numbers that were drawn in the Powerball lottery on Saturday night were 16, 20, 44, 57 and 58, while 06 was the Powerball number and 4X was the Power Play.

Unfortunately, there were no players who were able to match the numbers needed for winning the jackpot in Saturday night’s Powerball lottery draw.

Therefore, the previous jackpot will now roll over to the next draw, which is scheduled to take place on Monday, November 14th, 2022.

The jackpot for Monday night’s drawing of the Powerball lottery has now reached an estimated $59 million and will come with a cash option of $29.6 million.

Other winners

While there were no winners of the grand prize, the Powerball lottery drawing on Saturday night saw only one player from Texas who was able to match all five numbers except for the Powerball number, which would have resulted in a prize of $1 million.

However, the player had also decided to buy the Power Play option, which enabled them to double their prize to $2 million.

Big prize

The Powerball lottery had gained a lot of attention in the previous week. The jackpot for the Powerball lottery draw on Monday, November 7th, 2022 was $2.04 billion, which was the biggest prize in history.

The ticket for the massive prize belongs to a player in the suburb of Altadena in Los Angeles, but they have not yet come forward to claim their prize.

The drawing of the Powerball lottery on Saturday night was the second one after the big prize win that saw the winner overcome the odds of 1 in 292 million.

The Powerball lottery draw can be played in 45 states, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.

Tickets cost $2, while the price goes up to $3 with the Power Play option. The Powerball lottery draws are held three times in a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

However, the drawing for the massive $2.04 billion prize had been conducted early on Tuesday morning because of a delay on Monday night.
