No jackpot wins

The winning numbers that were chosen in Monday night’s drawing of the Powerball lottery were 19, 35, 53, 54 and 67, with 21 being the Powerball number and 2X was the Power Play.

Unfortunately, there were no players who were able to match all six numbers to win the jackpot in the Powerball Lottery draw on Monday night, which means it will now be added to the prize of the next draw.

This drawing will now take place on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 and will have a jackpot of $76 million and it will come with a cash option of $38.2 million.

Other prizes

While there may not have been any winners of the grand prize in Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw, there were smaller monetary prizes that were won.

There was one instant millionaire, as a player from Washington was able to hit the Match 5. Usually, it would have meant a prize of $1 million.

However, the ticket holder had also opted for the Power Play option with their ticket, so their prize doubled to $2 million.

Other than the instant millionaire, there were also nine players who were able to hit the Match 4 as well as the Powerball number, which enabled them to win a prize of $50,000 each.

There were also three players who not only hit the Match 4 and Powerball number, but had also bought the Power Play option, so their prizes doubled to $100,000 each.

The rest of the winnings in Monday night’s Powerball lottery drawing were between $4 and $200. A total of 329,000 tickets were able to win prizes in the Powerball drawing on Monday night, which were about $4.6 million.

Previous winner

This latest jackpot comes after a player in Texas landed a prize of $2 million in the Powerball lottery draw on Saturday, November 12th, 2022.

The player purchased the winning ticket in northwest Austin at an H-E-B supermarket. It was a Quick Pick ticket and the player chose to pay the $1 extra for the Power Play.

Therefore, the lucky winner doubled their prize from $1 million to $2 million. Otherwise, the standard ticket price of the Powerball is $2.

In order to win the jackpot, players have to match all six numbers that are drawn and they have the option of claiming the prize as a lump sum, or as an annuity.

In the latter option, they get one immediate payment and the rest is paid out in 29 annual payments that go up by 5% each.

The Powerball lottery draws are held three times every week, on Monday, Wednesday and then Saturday.
