Powerball Jackpot Continues Growing to $420 Million

The Powerball lottery draw was conducted on Monday, October 10th, 2022 and had a jackpot of around $403.9 million that came with a cash payout option of about $206.9 million.

No jackpot winner

The winning numbers for the Powerball lottery draw on Monday night were 03, 06, 11, 17 and 22, with 11 being the Powerball number and 2X as the Power Play.

But, Monday night’s lottery draw for the Powerball did not see anyone manage to match the winning numbers to claim the jackpot.

This means that the big prize will now roll over to the next draw of the Powerball lottery, which is scheduled for Wednesday night.

The next drawing for the Powerball lottery will take place on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022 and will now have a jackpot of a whopping $420 million that comes with a cash option of $215.2 million.

Other winners

While there may not have been any winners for the grand prize in Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw, there were several players who were able to become millionaires overnight.

There were a number of players who were able to hit the Match 5 in the latest lottery draw, which allowed them to walk away with a prize of $1 million each.

These included players in Minnesota and Illinois, along with two in Florida, all of whom were able to hit the Match 5 to win the prize.

A lucky player from Iowa also managed to hit the Match 5, but they had also opted for the Power Play option with their ticket purchase, so they doubled their prize to $2 million.

Other than these instant millionaires, there were also those who were able to land smaller monetary prizes in Monday night’s lottery draw.

A total of 30 players were lucky enough to hit the Match 4 and also the Powerball number, which enabled them to win $50,000 each.

Meanwhile, there were 17 lucky players who also hit the Match 4, the Powerball number and had also bought the Power Paly option with their ticket, so they were able to double their prize to $100,000 each.

As far as the remaining prizes on Monday night are concerned, they were between $4 and $200. Monday night’s drawing of the Powerball lottery saw a total number of 521,267 tickets sold that won prizes at each level.

Ticket expiring

This latest lottery draw comes as a winning ticket will expire next week in Indiana, which is worth $50,000.

The ticket had been bought for the Powerball drawing on April 18th and if no one comes forward, then it will expire on October 17th.

The ticket holder has been advised to collect their prize from Indianapolis by going to the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment Center.
