EuroMillions Players in Carlow Urged to Check Tickets as Prize Remains Unclaimed

A EuroMillions player will miss out on their opportunity to claim a prize of €22,000, if they do not come forward soon. According to the National Lottery, the winner belongs to Co Carlow and the prize was won in the EuroMillions draw that had been conducted on April 15th, Friday. The player had successfully matched five numbers that earned them a prize of €22,833.

The winning ticket

The lucky winner had bought the ticket on April 13th, Wednesday in Tullow, Co. Carlow. It was a Quick Pick ticket that was brought on Hickson’s SuperValu, which is located on Bridge Street. 90 days are granted to all winners of the lottery draw to claim their prize.

This means that the deadline for claiming this prize would end on July 14th, Thursday. The winning numbers for the EuroMillions draw that was conducted on April 15th, Friday were 06, 24, 30, 32 and 48, while 05 and 06 were the Lucky Star numbers.

National Lottery urges players

A spokesperson for the National Lottery asked all EuroMillions players in Co. Carlow who had bought their tickets at SuperValu to take a look at their tickets because one of them is the lucky winner of €22,833.

The spokesperson said that there were less than two weeks for the expiry of the claim deadline, so all EuroMillions players should check their old tickets to see if they are the winner. They said that the deadline would pass on July 14th, so checking the tickets was a must, or they would miss out on the prize.
