The Irish Lotto draw was conducted on Saturday, October 1st, which saw a number of players walk away with prizes of more than €1,500.
The jackpot for Saturday night’s draw was around €8.5 million, but it was not claimed by any, which means that it will now roll over for the Wednesday night draw of the Irish Lotto, giving players another opportunity to win big.
The main draw of the Irish Lotto saw players claim the top prize of about €1,523 and there were a total of 23 players who were able to win it, as they successfully matched the five numbers drawn on Saturday.
The winning numbers for Saturday night’s Irish Lotto draw were 12, 22, 28, 29, 36 and 44, while 43 was the bonus number.
As far as the Lotto Plus 1 draw is concerned, there were two players who were able to walk away with a prize of €5,000 each. This is after they managed to match five numbers, along with the bonus numbers.
The winning numbers for the Lotto Plus 1 draw of the Irish Lotto were 04, 10, 11, 18, 22 and 41, while 42 was the bonus number.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday, September 30th, saw a lucky punter in Dublin win a big prize, due to which lottery bosses were urging players to check their tickets.
It was a Quick Pick ticket that was purchased by a player in Balbriggan, north Co Dublin. It was bought from the Spar store located in the heart of the town on Drogheda Street.
The lucky winner purchased the ticket on the day of the draw i.e. September 30th Friday and managed to land a prize of a whopping €500,000.

The owner of the store where the lucky ticket was bought, Paddy O’Neill said that the news about the local win was huge and their customers and the town were very excited.
He said that the news was really huge and he had been informed by his local National Lottery rep late at night.
He said that when the National Lottery calls a lottery retailer late at night, it is usually to give good news and this was exactly the case.
The owner added that the good news had spread quickly and their clients were also buzzing. There had already been a number of customers who had come in to check their tickets.
He said that they have a loyal customer base and hoped that it was one of them who won the ticket. He also said that the entire town would be delighted for the winner and hoped it would bring them joy.
The €500,000 win in Dublin makes it the 22nd top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw to have been won by a player in Ireland this year.
