Meanwhile, reports indicate that the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday, September 30th, saw a lucky punter in Dublin win a big prize, due to which lottery bosses were urging players to check their tickets.

It was a Quick Pick ticket that was purchased by a player in Balbriggan, north Co Dublin. It was bought from the Spar store located in the heart of the town on Drogheda Street.

The lucky winner purchased the ticket on the day of the draw i.e. September 30th Friday and managed to land a prize of a whopping €500,000.

The owner of the store where the lucky ticket was bought, Paddy O’Neill said that the news about the local win was huge and their customers and the town were very excited.

He said that the news was really huge and he had been informed by his local National Lottery rep late at night.

He said that when the National Lottery calls a lottery retailer late at night, it is usually to give good news and this was exactly the case.

The owner added that the good news had spread quickly and their clients were also buzzing. There had already been a number of customers who had come in to check their tickets.

He said that they have a loyal customer base and hoped that it was one of them who won the ticket. He also said that the entire town would be delighted for the winner and hoped it would bring them joy.

The €500,000 win in Dublin makes it the 22nd top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw to have been won by a player in Ireland this year.
