The EuroMillions lottery draw was conducted on Friday, September 2nd, which had a jackpot of £110 million.
A lucky ticket-holder from the United Kingdom managed to land the massive win. Andy Carter, the National lottery’s senior winners’ adviser, said that the night was a fabulous one for the ticket-holder.
The numbers that were drawn in the EuroMillions draw on Friday were 07, 12, 13, 20 and 45, while 03 and 12 were the Lucky Star numbers.
Mr. Carter was urging all EuroMillions players from the UK to check their tickets to see if they are the winner.
There are only 15 players from the UK who have managed to win a jackpot more than £100 million, with the highest jackpot being won in July worth £195 million.
Before that win, it was a prize of £184 million that was the biggest prize paid out to a couple from Gloucester.
Thanks to players of the National Lottery, approximately £30 million is generated every week to be used for good causes all over the country.
A Dubliner also scored big in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, as he managed to land a prize of €115,000.
The punter chose to remain anonymous and had played in the draw via the online BoyleSports account. They opted for the €3.50 accumulator and hoped to see their four numbers come out.
The numbers that they chose to play were 07, 12, 13 and 20 and they did manage to overcome the odds of 33000/1, as their four numbers were drawn.
All it took was an investment of €3.50 for them to take home a huge windfall of €115,503.50, which is really life-changing.
Had the player decided to match the same numbers in the actual EuroMillions draw, they would have only managed to win a prize of €34.
But, since they played through BoyleSports, they were able to win big. A spokesperson for BoyleSports, Sarah Kinsella said that they had taken a hammering on Friday on their lotto markets.
However, she congratulated the Irish winner from Dublin who made a bet of €3.50 and was able to win in style. It may have been a long shot, but it definitely paid off for the winner.
