A lucky player from Dublin was in complete shock after they claimed the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw of a whopping €500,000.
The player opted to remain anonymous and talked of how they had felt when they discovered they had won the huge prize.
They said that they were in complete shock and it had not really sunk in. The winner also added that they did not have any immediately plan for their winnings, but their top priority was to clear their mortgage.
They stated that the amount of money was impressive, if not completely life-changing, and it would certainly take off a lot of pressure and make things easier for them.
The player from Dublin had bought their EuroMillions Plus ticket in Dublin City Centre on the Trinity College Campus.
It was a quick pick ticket that they got from the Student Union shop.
No jackpot winner
On Tuesday, September 13th, the 1,563rd EuroMillions draw was conducted that had a jackpot amount of €124,482,154, but there were no winners for the big prize.
Therefore, the amount will now roll over for the draw on Friday, September 16th, which will have a jackpot of €139 million.
The winning numbers for Tuesday night’s draw were 09, 12, 15, 40 and 47, while 01 and 11 were the lucky star numbers. VFKF3612 was the UK millionaire maker code.
There were two lucky players who managed to match five numbers in the draw, along with one lucky star number. The winner from UK walked away with a prize of €284,724.
