No jackpot wins

The winning numbers that were drawn in the Powerball lottery drawing on Monday night were 16, 31, 50, 55 and 61 and 09 was the red Powerball number, while 4X was the Power Play.

However, none of the players were able to match all the six numbers drawn that would have allowed them to win the Powerball lottery jackpot.

This means that the prize will now roll over to the next drawing of the Powerball lottery, which is now scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022.

The drawing on Wednesday night will have a jackpot of $134 million.

Instant millionaire

While there had not been any winners for the grand prize in Monday night’s Powerball lottery drawing, there was one lucky player who did manage to become an instant millionaire.

A ticket holder from California was able to hit the Match 5, which allowed them to win a prize of $1 million.

Had they chosen to buy the Power Play option with their ticket, they would have managed to increase their winnings to $4 million.

Other winners

Other than the lone instant millionaire, there were other smaller monetary prizes that were also won in the Monday night lottery drawing of the Powerball.

There were three players who were able to hit the Match 4 as well as the red Powerball number, which allowed them to win a prize of $50,000 each.

But, there was only one player who was able to hit the Match 4, the red Powerball number and also the Power Play option, which enabled them to increase their winnings to $200,000.

The rest of the prizes on Monday night were between $4 and $400. Monday night’s Powerball lottery draw saw a total of 321,000 players win prizes, which were valued at $3.9 million.

This latest draw comes at a time when a winning ticket of about $2 million in Indiana is scheduled to expire.

The ticket had been bought in Russiaville at McClure Oil, which was for the Powerball lottery drawing held on June 18th.

The ticket will hit its expiry date on Thursday and the winner should come forward to claim their prize at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office by 4:30 p.m.

The Powerball lottery draw is conducted three times each week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and can be played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and the US Virgin Islands.
