The National Lottery has urged all EuroMillions players in Ireland to check their tickets after the EuroMillions Plus draw was held on Friday, January 13th.

This is because the Friday night drawing produced a winner who landed the life-changing top prize.

Friday night wins

The main EuroMillions jackpot for Friday night’s drawing was a massive €68,825,114 that was won by a lucky player from Switzerland.

Apart from that, there were a total of 58,000 players who won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws from Ireland.

One lucky punter from Ireland was able to match all the five numbers necessary in the EuroMillions Plus draw to land a prize of €500,000.

The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus drawing on Friday night were 07, 08, 26, 27 and 37 and the Irish player was able to match them all to win the jackpot.

The winning numbers that were drawn in the main EuroMillions game on Friday night were 04, 13, 25, 33 and 37 and 05 and 10 were the Lucky Star numbers.

There was an Irish player who was able to match four main numbers in the main EuroMillions draw and the two Lucky Star numbers as well, which allowed them to win a prize of €1,000.

The National Lottery

The National Lottery revealed that the winning ticket for the €500,000 won in the EuroMillions Plus draw had been a Quick Pick one.

They further disclosed that it had been purchased on the day of the draw in north Co. Cavan in Cootehill town.

It was bought from the McMullan’s Daybreak service station located on Bridge Street. A spokesperson for the National Lottery said that the year is off to a great start for the players.

It is due to the fact that Limerick, Kerry and Dublin had already seen lottery millionaires in just a span of two weeks.

All EuroMillions lottery players in Cavan were asked to check their tickets to see if they had won the big €500,000 prize.

They were instructed to sign the back of their ticket and get in touch with the claims team of the National Lottery to get their prize.

Kerry win

Meanwhile, the National Lottery is also waiting for the €1 million winner in the Lotto Plus 1 draw conducted on Wednesday, January 11th.

The lucky player is from Kerry and the National Lottery has already confirmed that the winning ticket had been purchased in the village of Castlegregory from Lynch’s County Store located on Strand Street.
