The winning ticket for the jackpot in the draw on Saturday night worth €5,365,263, had been sold in Dublin. The life-changing winning prize was scooped up by a lucky punter in Dublin, who became this year’s third winner of the lottery. While the lottery heads have not yet disclosed the exact location where the ticket was sold in the capital, but they said that they would give confirmation of the shop in the next few days. 

Meanwhile, there were two other lucky players who were able to match five numbers in the draw plus the bonus, allowing them to share a prize of about €100,000. One of the players is from Offaly, while the other hails from Dublin. 13, 21, 28, 37, 45 and 46 were the winning numbers in Saturday night’s draw and 33 was the bonus number. The Match 5+ Bonus winner from Dublin had bought their winning ticket on March 11th, Friday. They purchased the ticket in Foxrock, Dublin 18 from the Dunnes Stores located at the Cornelscourt Shopping Centre. 

The winner would be able to walk away with a prize of €48,403. As for the player from Offaly, they had bought their ticket on the day of the draw via the Quick Pick option in Moneygall, Co. Offaly at Macs Place. All winners of the draw were told to sign the back of their tickets for safety purposes. A spokesperson for the National Lottery said that some people believe 13 to be an unlucky number, but the lotto player from Dublin had officially become the 13th National Lottery millionaire and was also the third lucky punter to have won in 2022. 

The spokesperson said that so far, the lottery jackpot wins had been recorded in Meath and Mayo and now Dublin was added to the list. They said that further details would be announced, but all lottery players in Dublin should check their ticket because one of them has a whopping prize of €5,365,262 to collect. The Saturday night’s draw had also been lucky for the two other players, who can now collect their €48,403 prize each.
