Celebratory Scenes Outside Cork Shop that Sold Winning Ticket for Millionaire Raffle

The Millionaire Raffle of the National Lottery was conducted on New Year’s Eve i.e. December 31st, Saturday and it had a top prize of €1 million.

It turns out that the winning ticket for the €1 million prize was purchased in Cork on December 18th, Sunday. The winning ticket number turned out to be 219908.

National Lottery officials disclosed the location where the winning ticket was sold. It turns out that it was a Tesco store in Co. Cork where the winner had bought their ticket.

After the announcement that the Tesco store located in Mahon Point Shopping Centre, which is located on Cork city’s outskirts, was where the lucky ticket had been sold, there was a lot of excitement.

The staff that works at the store in question celebrated the fact that their store had been the location where the €1 million winner had bought their ticket.

The National Lottery has urged all players of the Millionaire Raffle to check their lottery tickets because the €1 million prize winner has not yet come forward to claim their prize.

The biggest winner of the draw has been advised to sign the back of their ticket and the Cork winner has also been advised to keep it in a safe place.

The player has also been told to get in touch with the prize claims team of the National Lottery via phone or email for claiming their prize.

The Cork winner was not the only one to win a prize in the draw. There were also five players who landed a prize of €100,000.

Three of these players were from Dublin and one each from Kilkenny and Carlow. Other than the top-tier prizes, there were more than 6,000 players who won prizes between €500 and €10,000.
