To the player’s surprise, he had matched all six numbers and had become a millionaire in a matter of seconds. When asked for the future plans, Cumming preferred to remain secretive about his plans and future decisions.
However, the recent prize win has made the manager of the Chevron gas station’s store very happy and excited.
The manager at the store, Christian Saracay shared his excitement with the California Lottery. He stated that ever since the win, their sales have gone through the roof. The people come in from all around the country to buy the lottery tickets and try their luck.
He stated that even the regular lottery customers are very excited about the recent announcement. They are cheering that a player who bought the ticket from the same store has won a Mega Millions jackpot prize.
Saracay told California lottery that they did have customers winning small prizes but this is the first time someone has won a prize worth millions from this store.
It was later announced that Chevron will also be receiving a bonus of $110,000 from the Lottery because the winning ticket was sold from their store.
